When I go to school
I expect to learn something
My teachers are expected to teach me
About the universe around me
When I go to school
I expect to be knowledgable about algebra

The sciences of the world
When I go to school
I want to learn this
I want to know this
I want to remember this
When I go to school
I am prepared
I am ready to learn
I have an open heart
An open mind
When I go to school
If I go to school
And the teachers don't know what they're doing
I can't do what I want
To learn
To know
To remember
If I go to school
And teachers won't teach me
I am unable
To be ready to face the world
To go into life with a confident mind
To be prepared
When I go to school
And all year you don't know how to do your job
So that I can learn
So that I can know
So that I can remember
I will do anything in my power
To help myself
Help everyone else
So that you're not a problem anymore
When I go to school
I will make sure that I can learn
Everyone can learn
When I go to school
You will teach me
Or someone else will
