Setting
up a Free Soundcloud Account
1.
Go to the free
Play Store or iTunes and install the SoundCloud app.
2.
Open the App.
3.
Click “Sign Up”
4.
Enter your email
address and passwords as instructed.
5.
Choose a
username. (If you click “Skip this step,” SoundCloud will prompt you to change
your username later.
6.
Scroll the page
to access the record screen.
7.
You’re now ready
to record!

About Recording Sounds
The SoundCloud app allows you to easily record any
type of audio and directly upload it to your account.
Overview
1. To
start your recording, click on and record
directly by clicking the orange ‘REC’ button.
2. Click
“STOP” to end the recording.
3. Click
“Discard” to delete OR “Next” to continue.
4. Title
your recording in the “What” field.
5. Select
“Upload & Share”
6. Your
recording will be sent to your SoundCloud account.
To post to the blog, you’ll need to access
SoundCloud from a computer. (Currently, SoundCloud only uploads to Facebook,
Twitter, Foursquare and Tumblr from smartphones.
1. Log
on your SoundCloud account from a desktop computer.
2. Hover
over “You” on your SoundCloud home page and select “Tracks”
3. Select
the track you would like to post to the Blog.
How do I delete, edit or
share a track?
On SoundCloud.com, above the waveform of your track &
set, you'll see additional options: a pen icon (edit) and a trash icon
(delete).
To delete a track or set, hit the trash icon.
To access the settings of a track or set, hit the pen icon and you'll get
directed to the settings where you can edit your track.

Before You Start Blogging
You will be invited
to join wespeakchange.blogspot.com
as a team member. You must go to your student email and accept your invitation
in order to post to the blog. To accept, click on the link to “contribute to
this blog.”
Next, you will be prompted to sign in with your Google Account OR if you don't have a Google Account, Create your account. Select either link and complete the steps.
You will be listed as an
"Author.” Authors can only create and edit their own posts. You can
comment on posts by going to www.wespeakchange.blogspot.com and clicking the “comments” link at the beginning of each
post.

Embeding In General
You can embed your sounds on any page by using our widgets and apps. Go to the sound that you want to embed, click the "Share" button, copy the HTML code which is identified as "Embed Code" and then embed that full code into the HTML section of your blog, or website. To embed into a post, please copy the HTML code and then paste to post it into the HTML field of your Blogger blog post.

Sign in to the Google blogger
account.
2.
Click “New Post” next to the Blog
title “Learn. Speak. Change.”
3.
Title Post
4.
Next to “Compose,” click HTML.
5.
Paste the code into the window.
6.
Click “label” on the right side of
the page and enter either “Period 1,” “Period 2,”
“Period 3,” “Period
5,” “Period 6” AND “Done.”
7.
Select Publish.
That's it!
To Post Written Blogs:
1.
Follow steps 1-3 from above.
2.
Select “Compose.”
3.
Click “label” on the right side of
the page and enter either “Period 1,” “Period 2,”
“Period 3,” “Period 5,” “Period 6” AND “Done.”
4.
Select Publish.
