Comfortable in My Own Two Shoes

A Pretty Little Poem By Shana Crawford, Written in Third Hour English. Let The Reading Commence:

After Reading Notes:

This poem is essentially about being comfortable with who you are, no matter who that is. Its addressing the issue that in many places in this world, you are judged by what you look like, how you act, and what you do.  For many, the constant pressure causes them to be unhappy with who they are and they change to be like someone else. The message of this poem is to not change, that whoever you are, that person is beautiful, and deserves to be shown. Subliminally, it also informs you that you should wear comfortable shoes to improve your posture and erradicate uncomfortable shoes forever.

Love, The Author.

I really enjoyed this poem because it addresses the issue about being who you are! A lot of people are uncomfortable with the person that they are, but after reading this poem I think people will open their eyes and realize they are supposed to be who they are.

Hi. I really liked this poem+picture. The picture in the background contains plenty of relaxing colors that eases the mood of the overall presentation. I felt relaxed as soon as I saw the art piece. The poems deeper meaning also intrigued me to a large extent. Shoes are a seemingly innocuous thing, but in this poem they are portrayed as a serious metaphor fo a serious problem in todays world. Because shoes are part of the title, the reader is immediately drawn into a semblance of "funny poem incoming." But once the seriousness hits them, the effect is even more profound. Your confidence in explaining your position is also very powerful. It adds credibility to the poem, and makes it a poem that is truthful and outspoken. In conclusion, I extremely enjoyed this piece, and I hope to see more from you in the future.
